OUTCOMES REPORT CAMBODIA Youth Internet Governance Forum 2023The Cambodia Youth Internet Governance Forum 2023 was organized with the aim of fostering a safe and secure open data ecosystem and digital sphere. The event followed a boarding-style format and revolved around the central theme of \"Digital Empowerment: Ensuring Access, Safety, and Opportunities for All,\" with a focus on three sub-thematic areas: Introduction to AI, Digital Rights and Online Responsibility, and Cybersecurity and Data Privacy. Taking place from September 23 to 24, 2023, at the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology in Phnom Penh, the Forum brought together a total of 250 attendees represented diverse fields, including journalism, CSOs, digital rights working groups, the private sector, people with disabilities, the LGBTQ+ community, indigenous communities, lecturers, and students.Its objectives were to enhance the understanding of youth leaders regarding the Internet and its ecosystem and to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage in Internet policymaking.
