My name is Oun Bonaliheng, and I am currently a 20-year-old IT student at RUPP University. I am continuing my studies with a strong interest in technology. During my study tour, I worked as a video editor at a company for the past two years. I have volunteered with Cambodia YIGF because I love the potential of technology to bring something new, learn about Internet governance for Cambodian youth, gain more insights, and make positive changes in sharing information and using the Internet in a more inclusive and equitable space.

My name is Pisey, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. I am entering my third year of studies. Alongside my passion for digital and English literature, I am also interested for internet accessibility, and online safety. While I may not have direct professional experience in the field, I have actively participated in various activities that have allowed me to develop relevant skills. Currently, I volunteer as a Translator for ActionAid Cambodia, where I have honed my attention to detail and communication abilities. Additionally, I volunteered for the Games-IT Team during the 32nd SEAGAMES & 12th ASEAN PARAGAMES, which provided me with valuable experience in the digital realm. The Cambodia YIGF presents an incredible opportunity for me to contribute to discussions and initiatives that shape the future of the internet. I am eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals and gain valuable experience in internet governance. By actively participating in this forum, I hope to play a role in creating a more inclusive and safe digital space for all. Internet governance encompasses various aspects, including technology, law, human rights, and development. It is crucial that everyone’s voices are heard, and I believe that by starting from ourselves, we can make a significant impact.

Event Facilitator
I’m currently enrolled at Paragon International University for a bachelor’s degree in business administration. I am the kind of person who enjoys learning and exploring new things because I believe that every stage of life is an opportunity for us to grow and develop.
I decided to join YIGF because I would like to gain new skills and experience, especially in learning about Internet governance. Internet governance is a global resource that could affect our lives. It shares the responsibility of governments, the private sector, and civil society, and we all have a role to play in ensuring that the internet is used for good.
I am very excited to meet professionals and other young people who share my interests and to work and learn together. I am very grateful for this chance to be a part of the team to raise more awareness about this matter.

Hi! My name is Ear Vicheka. I am from Posenchey District, Phnom Penh, and I am 20 years old. I am currently a student at the Royal University of Phnom Penh, and I am majoring in bioengineering because I love biology, chemistry, and solving problems. I hope to develop some useful applications for my country in the future. In my free time, I like to watch animation and listen to music. I also enjoy reading books and research journals. I could say that it is such a great opportunity for the individuals who are strongly interested in it, and I want to mention that I am one of these people as well. I am interested in the YIGF event because I believe that the internet is a powerful tool for social change and empowerment. I want to learn more about the issues and challenges that affect internet users, especially youth, and how they can participate in shaping the policies and practices that govern theinternet. Last but not least, I expected that I would gain a lot of knowledge related to volunteering locally, especially at this event, and learn more about event management and building team spirit. Moreover, I think that through this event I would get the opportunity to build my confidence with various types of people and to overcome my social anxiety.
